SMS Alert Program

Landscape.fyi Weather & Golden Hour Alerts

Program Overview

Landscape.fyi is a product of Pangolin Gears. Our SMS alert service sends automated weather and golden hour notifications to landscape photographers who opt in. Messages include photography condition scores, forecasts, and ideal shooting windows for your saved locations.

How to Opt In

Users opt in to SMS alerts after creating a free Landscape.fyi account. On the Settings page, under "Phone Number", users enter their phone number and review the consent disclosure before submitting. A 6-digit verification code is then sent via SMS; users must enter the code to confirm their consent. Only after successful verification are they enrolled in SMS alerts.

Currently available for North American (US & Canada) phone numbers only.

Opt-In Consent Interface

The following screenshot shows the exact consent interface users see on the Settings page before providing their phone number. The opt-in page requires a free-account login.
